Nowadays she laughs and smiles and talks and *attempts* to crawl. She's my sweet butterball and I could just eat her up! I tell her that all the time. In a baby-talk voice. I can't help it.
Emma started Pre-k at the local elementary school on the 13th. She couldn't love it more. I'm pretty sure that if she could go on the weekends, she really would. The only thing that's difficult for her is the waking up part. Last Friday, I was trying to put her uniform on while she was still about 3/4's asleep and she said something she has NEVER spoken outloud, "I WANNA GO TO SLEEP!"
Hahahah, I couldn't help but chuckle. A few minutes later she was in the bathroom brushing her teeth, accepting that morning was here and she was happily going to school.
I've been trying to walk her to school but I tend to wake up too late to do it most days. I guiltily drive over to a side street next to the school instead and walk her in. I'm just really no good at mornings. And she has to be there at 7:45! That's an unknown time for me.
Allen is in between jobs right now. Although we're uncertain of our future, we're all really happy and really confident that he'll get a (an even better) job soon. Norfolk Southern is the latest prospect. We're crossing our fingers for a call tomorrow.
And me? I'm in the middle of a battle for my rights at Georgia Perimeter. I'm thinking of just saying "screw it!" and just going back to GGC where they treated me like a human being. I just feel that I must make myself known to Perimeter so that they can start to THINK about the way they treat non-citizen residents.
I just hate that I missed a whole semester of school because Perimeter is SO DESPERATE to keep "illegals" out of their "in-state" tuition rate. It's like, fucking get over it. Trust me, illegals can't get in college. I remember.
Man I promised myself that I wouldn't curse but people make me sooo angry!
Anyway, I'm going back to GGC for Spring Semester. I'm so excited! :D
